Reservations and Deposit
In order to make a reservation, we will take a GBP 50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of your total booking and the balance will be due on departure.
Cancellation Charges
We appreciate there are times when cancellation of a stay with us, by our guests is deemed unavoidable. Please understand though, that a booking is a firm contract and should be regarded as such. We strongly recommend the use of travel insurance to protect you from unforeseen events and circumstances that may cause you to cancel your booking.
If a cancellation is made within 7 days of arrival or by ‘no-show’, a cancellation charge equal to the whole booking will become payable.
If a reservation is for a two night minimum stay, cancellation of only one or of those nights will not be allowed and cancellations will be subject to payment in full.
Where a reservation is cut short within 7 days of arrival or after arrival, the stay will be subject to payment in full.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE GUESTS TO HAVE APPROPRIATE TRAVEL INSURANCE IN PLACE BEFORE THEY TRAVEL.
Payment
We prefer payment by direct bank transfer, cash or cheque. Balance of payment will be required on departure. Please note that we do not take credit cards.
Parking
We have car parking on site. Please note that cars are parked entirely at owner’s risk.
We are a No Smoking B&B
We are totally non-smoking throughout our B&B. You can smoke outside in the garden or courtyard where we provided ash trays for your convenience.
ANY evidence of smoking in the room or house will result in a demand to immediately vacate the property and we will a charge £500 for additional cleaning, airing including lost revenue and associated costs.
No Pets
As we have 2 dogs in our household, we unfortunately cannot allow pets.
Minimum Stay
We have a two night minimum stay in the high season from April to October. However, we are happy to accommodate single night bookings on Sundays - Thursdays, if we have availability. All minimum stay requirements can be found on our online booking form.
Damage/Breakages & Disturbances
You will be liable for any damage and breakages which you cause. We kindly request that you inform us immediately, if you have damaged any content/furnishings of our B&B.
In case of severe damage that will trigger an insurance claim (i.e. non-repairable spillage on a carpet or sofa, soiling/wetting a mattress), you will be liable to pay our excess of £400.-. Any other major damage will be charged as per repair/replacement quote.
Please note that we will charge you for any keys/key fob sets that are not returned or lost on departure.
Key charges are as follows:
- Room keys £15
- Key fob sets will be charged at £50.
We would also like to remind guests to have consideration for other guests, so when leaving/arriving or even whilst in their rooms to keep noise to a respectable level, especially between 10pm to 8am.
